This kit is another that falls into the category of “didn’t have high hopes as I was building it but love it now that it’s done.” It’s amazing sometimes how radically the paint, decals, and other final touches can improve a project by the time it reaches the finish line. The Airfix kits generally come with the option of having landing gear up or down. Here I show the aircraft “in flight,” though I have not glued the wheel covers yet and may still switch — although with the pilot in and the flaps up, it doesn’t exactly look like it’s on the ground. Ah, well, such are the difficult choices one faces with a new model!

The photos really show the model off exceedingly well. I think you’ve done a wonderful job there.
