Hello, Readers! In the interest of full disclosure, I just wanted to let anyone who takes the time to read Schopenhauer’s Workshop know that I will be offering the occasional book-centered essay from here on out. Pen and Sword Books, Ltd., U.K.-based publisher of “…a Variety of Military, Aviation, Maritime, Local History, True Crime and Nostalgia Books ,” somehow took note of this little publication of mine (thanks, fellow bloggers, especially Amateur Airplanes, if I am not mistaken) and invited me to review some of their publications from time to time.
I receive free copies of Pen and Sword books for review — which I like, because they are generally really cool — but that’s it. I am not paid, nor do I receive anything if someone buys a book. Why do I bother telling you this? I just don’t want to be one of those “hidden Internet commercials” for something, an ad disguised as a blog. I like writing; I like military history books; and I have a blog about military miniatures. Bingo!
My first review is in the works right now. Please look for it this week!
Cheers!
